Surprisingly, twenty of the 29 best priced homes sold in Mount Pleasant this year were built 1985 or later and located near Old Mt Pleasant. What does this home sale data tell you about finding great deals in Mt Pleasant? You need to work with a Mount Pleasant Realtor who knows your home preferences, the local real estate market and can recognize great opportunities. The following four points will help you prepare to take advantage of great deals on Mount Pleasant homes for sale: 1. Do your homework! After researching Mount Pleasant real estate online and communicating with a real estate agent, visit your favorite neighborhoods with your Realtor and see homes so you and your realtor understand your neighborhood and home preferences. Once you’ve narrowed your home search and target your top 5 neighborhoods in Mt Pleasant your real estate agent should give you recent market reports for each neighborhood along with homeowners association documents and community information.
2. You must get pre-approved for a mortgage and have the necessary downpayment.
